MORE INFORMATION TO COMING SOON!
Dear Ice Community,
We have an exciting announcement to make- – NEW ICE IS COMING!
In the last three seasons, Centennial Ice Arena and Billings Amateur Hockey League (BAHL) have seen positive growth in ice sports and overall public interest.
Our community is filled with individuals and resources that have stepped up to help us in these efforts. A big thank you to Parker Phipps and Signal Peak Energy who took notice and stepped forward with such a generous donation to realistically get us started down this path. The newly organized Yellowstone Ice Foundation, is overseeing the larger capital campaign and will be the operating management entity of this facility upon opening. We look forward to partnering with Yellowstone Ice Foundation to “Create and operate a modern, state-of-the-art two-sheet ice complex in Billings”.
The BAHL Board of Directors has asked that I share the following message with our community:
“The BAHL is excited for new ice, and we look forward to partnering with Yellowstone Ice Foundation to provide safe, fun, and educational opportunities for ice sports and getting our players and coaches on new ice as soon as possible. There will be more to come about the future of the Centennial Ice Arena. This new ice and partnership we now have with Yellowstone Ice Foundation will help us to continue growing our ice community together. We ask that everyone help to take care of our current facility that we need, until this new facility opens. Thank you Parker, Signal Peaks, City of Billings, CD Architecture, and many others that have and will be helping in various ways.”
We are excited to be on this journey with all of you and can’t wait for new ice!
